How long have you been in practice?
Office has been in the same location for over 30 years. Dr. Joseph Micheri was the previous owner, retired and has entrusted his practice to the Silver Lake Family Dental team. Collectively, our dentists have over 40 years of experience.
Where is your office located?
Location is address and east of Silver Lake Blvd. Located in the heart of silver lake providing dental care and treatment to neighboring cities of Eagle Rock, Echo Park, Los Feliz, Griffith Park, Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank and the City of Los Angeles.
Do you offer convenient appointment times? What are your hours?
Open Weds 6:30-9:30PM, Thursdays 9:30-6:30, Friday 10-6 and alternating saturdays. Please check out website for hours. Providing late evening appointments by request.
Do you see children, and, if so, how young?
Yes. We want every child to have an amazing experience in our office. If the child can comfortably sit in the chair without any hesitation, we will be happy to see them ages 6 and up. Otherwise, we may refer to the pediatric dentist.
I have a fear of the dentist. Do you offer anything that can help me?
I will allow you to write this…. We can provide anti-anxiety medications prior to treatment to help relieve anxiety.
Do you do a lot of cosmetic dentistry?

Do you offer whitening?
Yes.. Please elaborate.
Do you do implants?
We restore them but can refer to a wonderful periodontist or oral surgeon who have place them. We work closely with our specialty team.
Are you a participating provider/ are you in my insurance network?
We are in network with all PPO insurances and currently accept Denti-cal.
Do you accept secondary insurance?
Yes. Same answer but spoofed up.
What payment options do you offer?
We accept all forms of credit cards, checks and can provide patient financing courtesy of Springstone Lending Club or Care Credit.
Can I use my flexible spending card for payment?
Yes. Same answer spoof up.
How often should I visit my hygienist for a cleaning?
Unless otherwise indicated, every 6 months.

Will I get a "cleaning" at my first appointment?
Depending on what we need to discuss, sometimes we cannot complete a cleaning at the same time. We try our best but may have to bring you back. It is our goal to provide every patient a comprehensive treatment plan. We take our time to explain everything to our patients and make sure they understand the recommendations. We take pictures to show the patients what things look like. We never rush the time and want to make sure you are fully aware of the treatment proposed.
